Ramzi Theory
This Method is more for fun!
for ultrasounds between 6-10 weeks
Many expectant mothers undergo ultrasound scans starting from around 6 weeks for various reasons. During this time, 6-10 weeks you can utilize the "Ramzi Theory" based on the positioning of the placenta (not the side the baby or yolk sac is on).
You may have come across the Ramzi theory on forums and groups, leading you to believe that it is a highly reliable method for determining your baby's gender. However, when working with still images, it's not as straightforward, and the accuracy is definitely compromised.
During the scan, the probe's indicator aligns the display's orientation with the patient's anatomy. Screen orientation depends on probe positioning; however, the right side typically represents either the patient's right side or the head-to-toe axis.
So, if the placenta's on the left of the ultrasound (your right), it *might* mean a boy, but if it's on the right (your left), it *might* mean a girl. But, a lot of people try this Ramzi thing without even knowing how ultrasound works or what left and right even mean!
And get this – left and right are flipped on the ultrasound picture! It's easy to get mixed up. So, just to be clear...
